Italian firms centre stage at energy expo

Eight leading Italian companies are joining Future Energy Asia 2024, which kicks off today and runs until Friday, at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center's Hall 1-3, Ratchadaphisek Road.

Held under the theme "Powering A Resilient And Low Carbon Energy Future" by the Ministry of Energy, the exhibition underscores the growing urgency to address the challenges of energy transition.

To showcase Italy's commitment to driving innovation and sustainability in the energy sector, the Italian Pavilion is presented by the Italian embassy and the Italian Trade Agency Bangkok.

There, eight companies are representing Italy's cutting-edge technology and advanced expertise in various sectors of the energy industry -- power plant operation, engineering, green energy, wastewater management, power electronics and consulting services.

They include Ascot, a manufacturing group specialising in green and hybrid power solutions; Blue Group, a leader in automotive, railway and aerospace engineering and design; Cesi, a technical consulting and engineering company in the electric power; and HT, a manufacturer of instruments for power quality analysis and electrical safety testing.

Also joining are Moiwus, a cleantech start-up; Nidec Industrial Solutions, a provider of power conversion, power management, microgrid and battery energy storage solutions; REPCo, a comprehensive multisystem process design house for energy projects; and Rina which offers extensive international experience in engineering, consulting, inspection and certification services for the energy sector.
