A diverse group of 31 artists from various backgrounds have joined hands to showcase their works during "The Way We Were" which is running at RCB Galleria 4 of River City Bangkok, Charoen Krung 24, until June 23.
Viewers can explore the essence of individuality woven by threads of art as the exhibition guides them to discover how art is truly a universal language that always carries profound meaning, regardless of its medium or how it is created.
The exhibition portrays the stories of five foreign artists and 26 from Thailand, each guiding viewers to encounter the individual essence of creators who collaborate to craft wonder, regardless of their identities or origins.
Among them is Anuwat Sirirattanajit, who regards art as an exploration of self-taught artistic education and a form of thinking that leads to profound perception; Tetat who explores various styles from portraiture to impressionism and now a new surreal style, often referred to as "neo-surrealism"; and Wachiravit Samart, an 18-year-old budding artist, whose creations are a fusion of innovative thinking and contemporary Thai art, imbued with a sense of modernity and novelty.
Also, expect to see the beauty of women blooming on canvas by Ratchaphon Konchanaphong; abstract art that portrays human psyche and emotions by Narissara Komsuphom; captivating floral watercolour paintings by Anchana Nangkala; and artwork inspired by pristine natural surroundings by Srisilp Emcharoen.
