With the growing popularity of K-pop, Booking.com recently introduced the "Ultimate K-pop Experience" in Seoul offering exclusive access that begins with a two-night stay at the Executive Producer Suite at RYSE, followed by the true essence of K-pop culture, coveted front-row seats to the live music show M Countdown, and a private makeover from professional hair and make-up artists who work with K-pop idols and celebrities ranging from IU and Lee Seung-gi to members of Girls' Generation and Kep1er, as well as exclusive K-pop dance lessons.

Guests will be treated like exclusive fans by K-pop idol Kang Daniel, who will provide exclusive fan treatment -- including autographed albums and personalised recorded content.

Only one lucky pair of guests will get a chance to be immersed in the ultimate experience, which includes seamless travel provided by Booking.com services from their flights to South Korea, an airport taxi, local transportation and a two-night stay at the Executive Producer Suite at RYSE, Autograph Collection, designed especially for the lucky guests to experience the biggest K-pop star-like stay.

This "Ultimate K-pop Experience" will be available on Booking.com on Aug 7 at 8am. The stay will take place from Aug 31 to Sept 2 and will cost US$25.07 (approximately 860 baht).

Accor makes further in-roads in Japan

Accor is expanding its presence in Japan with the addition of the Daiwa Resorts portfolio, adding 23 properties and over 6,000 rooms, to its network across the country.

Mandarin Oriental targets Miami expansion

Mandarin Oriental has announced an agreement to manage a new hotel and branded residences in Brickell Key, Miami, one of the city's most prestigious neighbourhoods. The new Mandarin Oriental, Miami and The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Miami are set to open in 2030 and will set a new standard for luxury living.

The project is being developed by Swire Properties, Mandarin Oriental's joint-venture partner at the existing Mandarin Oriental, Miami, and will form part of the One Island Drive development, consisting of two towers connected by an amenity podium.

The new hotel will feature 151 guestrooms, including 60 suites, as well as 61 Private Residences and 28 Hotel Residences, all enjoying spectacular ocean and city views. Kohn Pederson Fox will design the exterior architecture and Parisian designer Laura Gonzales will create the hotel interiors. Thai firm Shma will lead the lush landscape architecture throughout the property. A variety of dynamic restaurants and bars, flexible meeting and event space as well as an expansive Spa at Mandarin Oriental will offer guests and local residents a compelling lifestyle choice.
