Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s general condition has improved with no fever, the Royal Household Bureau announced.
In a statement on Tuesday, the bureau said the Queen’s condition had improved after she received medication. She had no fever and a cough subsided. She had a good appetite and could speak.
The Queen was admitted to Chulalongkorn Hospital on Aug 19 after developing a fever and was diagnosed with influenza.
A team of royal physicians recommended that the Queen stay at the hospital while recuperating.
