An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.2 on the Richter scale was recorded in San Sai district of Chiang Mai province late Tuesday.
No casualties or damage were reported.
The Earthquake Observation Division of the Meteorological Department reported the epicentre of the 11pm earthquake was in San Sai district, and the quake itsealf was about one kilometer underground.
People felt the quake in San Sai and Mae Rim districts of the northern province.
