World No.1 golfer Ariya Jutanugarn says she will try to keep improving following a highly-successful season.

The 23-year-old won three tournaments this year, including the US Women's Open for her second major title.

She also became the first player to sweep all major honours at the end of the season, including the player of the year award, money title and Race to the CME Globe.

"I am very proud to win [three titles],'' she said at Friday's promotional event organised by her sponsor SCG.

"You never know what will happen next year. I only know that I have to do my best at present. To have a happy life, you must not stick with the past and not worry too much about the future to the extent that it affects you performance.

"You have to try to keep playing well. You must not stop practising or not try to improve because you think you are already good enough.

"Initially, my passion for playing golf was to earn money and help my family. Now that I have achieved that goal, I want to help other people."

The 10-time LPGA champion added: "I will keep having a good attitude on the course and play without fear."

Also at the function were her sister Moriya and Pajaree Anannarukarn, who both are sponsored by the second largest company in the country.

This year, Moriya became Thailand's second LPGA champion after Ariya following her win at the LA Open while Pajaree earned her card to play on the elite circuit next season.

Pajaree, 19, said Moriya and Ariya are her inspiration.

"I wanted to become a professional golfer and follow in their footsteps," she said.

Pajaree said her goal was to crack into the world top 10.
