Typhoon Jebi hits THAI flights

Thai Airways International Plc (THAI) late Monday announced cancellations and schedule changes on two Japan flights because of Typhoon Jebi.

THAI vice president Pratana Patanasiri said that the Japan Meteorological Agency has warned Japanese residents of approaching Typhoon Jebi. "For safety reasons", THAI reschedules flights to Japan on Tuesday as follows.

4 flights cancelled

1. Flight TG646 from Bangkok to Nagoya, scheduled to depart from Suvarnabhumi airport at 10.45am and arrive at Nagoya Airport at 6.40pm (local time).

2. The return Flight TG647 from Nagoya to Bangkok, scheduled to depart from Nagoya Airport at 12.30am (local time) on Wednesday and arrive at Suvarnabhumi at 4.30am.

3. Flight TG672 from Bangkok to Osaka, scheduled to depart from Suvarnabhumi Airport at 8.25am and arrive at Kansai Airport, Osaka, at 3.55pm (local time).

4. Return flight TG673 on the Osaka-Bangkok route, scheduled to depart from Kansai Airport, Osaka, at 5.35pm (local time) and arrive at Suvarnabhumi airport at 9.25pm.

2 flights rescheduled

1. Flight TG623 from Osaka to Bangkok, scheduled to depart from Kansai Airport, Osaka, at 11.45am (local time) and arrive at Suvarnabhumi Airport at 3.35pm, will now depart from Osaka at 11am (local time) and arrive at Suvarnabhumi at 2.50pm.

2.    Flight TG645 from Nagoya to Bangkok, scheduled to depart from Nagoya at 11am (local time) and arrive at Suvarnabhumi at 3pm, now will depart Nagoya Airport at 10am (local time) and arrive at Suvarnabhumi at 2pm.
