LONDON - Worcester flanker Alafoti Faosiliva has been handed a one-week ban after he was sent off against Gloucester last Friday.

The Samoan was given a red card when he appeared to lead with his forearm in a challenge on lock Mariano Galarza in the second half of a 23-23 draw at Sixways and was charged with striking.
The 30-year-old pleaded guilty and will be free to play again on September 18.
An RFU statement issued Wednesday said: "Alafoti Faosiliva of Worcester Warriors appeared before an RFU disciplinary panel this evening charged with striking with the arm and/or elbow, contrary to law 10.4(a).
"Faosiliva pleaded guilty and was given a one-week ban. He is free to play again on the 18th of September."
