Newly promoted BG Pathum United handed True Bangkok United a stunning 2-0 defeat and also wrested sole possession of the Thai League 1 top spot from their opponents on Sunday night.
Pathum United looked ominous on counter-attacks throughout the match and did not have much problem in controlling the game.

Meanwhile, Buriram coach Bozidar Bandovic was a relieved man when his team recorded a 1-0 win over Suphanburi in Saturday night's late game.
Buriram United were playing their first league match since March as they were forced to go into a two-week quarantine after their player Akbar Ismatullaev tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.
The Thunder Castle picked up three points at their home ground thanks to a 15th-minute goal by Gidi Kanyuk.
Bandovic said: "We have been through some tough time so winning the first match after the long break is a blessing for us.
"It was a tough game. We scored a quick goal and got several chances to add more goals but we could not do it."
