Thai League 1 winning coach Dusit Chalermsan has become the new boss at Thai League 2 side Rajpracha.

The former Thailand international left BG Pathum United after guiding them to their first ever Thai League 1 title this year.

It was reported that Dusit was upset that the Rabbits would move him upstairs and hire a new coach.

Dusit said yesterday he was proud to coach Rajpracha.

"I am very happy and proud to join Rajpracha who have a long history in Thai football," he said.

"I always give my all at every team no matter they're in Thai League 1 or Thai League 2. I'd like to thank Rajpracha for having trust in me. I'd like to pay them back with results on the pitch."

Dusit, one of the most respected Thailand stars during his playing days, joined Pathum when they were in Thai League 2 in 2019 and quickly took them to Thai League 1.

He then guided the promoted Rabbits to the Thai League 1 crown in the 2020/21 season.

Meanwhile, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has announced the times and venues for Asia's remaining matches in the qualifying round for the 2022 World Cup.

Thailand are in Group G and will play their remaining three matches behind closed doors in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.

The eight group winners and four best runners-up will advance to the next round.
