Thanh Le will step back into the One Championship Circle to defend his featherweight world title at One 160: Ok v Lee II on Aug 26.

The Vietnamese-American star will put his strap on the line for the second time inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium, this time against top-ranked contender Tang Kai.

Le has cemented his position at the top of the stacked featherweight division thanks to his five emphatic victories on the global stage. He holds a perfect record in One, with all his fights ending by knockout.

The reigning king has only spent 23 minutes in the Circle throughout his tenure at the promotion. His most recent fight against grappling superstar Garry Tonon was his shortest yet. Le shocked the world by spanking his compatriot after only 56 seconds to retain his world title.

While he has had a fantastic run in The Home of Martial Arts thus far, Le faces possibly his most difficult challenge in his upcoming fight. Tang is on a nine-fight winning streak, and 11 of his 14 career victories have come by TKO/KO.

The Chinese phenom has also made a name for himself as a knockout artist, but he also has a background in grappling, so he'll be dangerous wherever the fight goes.

Tang is coming off three back-to-back knockout victories, including a first-round finish over South Korea's Kim Jae Wong, who was the top-ranked contender in the division when they squared off.

Le and Tang have similar styles, and their knockout resumes mean this world title tussle will be a battle of stamina. Both men would prefer to keep it on the feet, and if it isn't finished quickly, it'll be the one who can stand and bang the longest that is most likely be declared the winner.

That said, if this one gets taken to the ground, fans can expect an all-out war between two proven warriors on the canvas. Regardless of the outcome, this fight is guaranteed to be a barnburner when it goes down.

In the meantime, watch One 159: De Ridder v Bigdash live on AIS Play beginning with the lead card at 5.30pm, Thai time, today. The main card broadcasts will be live on AIS Play at 7.30pm, Thai time, while Thairath TV 32 will cut into the main card live at 9.30pm, Thai time.
