Reinier de Ridder made his One Championship debut only three years ago, but the Dutch fighter has been on a tear in the organisation ever since.

The 31-year-old superstar continued his dominant run last weekend at One 159, where he faced Vitaly Bigdash in a One middleweight world title battle at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

The reigning king was put to work early on, having to survive a dangerous guillotine choke from the Russian challenger soon after the opening bell, but he quickly recovered and gained control.

The first-round victory handed "The Dutch Knight" his 16th win in as many fights and secured his status as one of the baddest men on the planet -- not to mention the US$50,000 performance bonus he won for his efforts.

With the middleweight division gradually being cleared out, and the light-heavyweight title still sitting on his shoulders, De Ridder used his post-fight interview to call out the heavyweight division's world champs.

Arjan Bhullar currently holds the world championship and Anatoly Malykhin is sitting as the interim titleholder, but the Dutchman had a bold suggestion.

"The goal is to do something nobody else can. I did that by becoming a champ. I did that by becoming a double-champ. And now, I want to keep going, beating everybody in the world, because that's special," De Ridder said.

"They're talking about doing Malykhin and Bhullar first, but let me have my shot first.

"Both of them on the same night. I don't care. [One] does mixed-rule stuff and whatever, so why not two opponents? Let's do it."
