Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya's equestrian prowess has become increasingly familiar to people around the world as she continues to secure high-profile victories in her quest to represent Thailand in the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games in China, which has been rescheduled for September 2023, and the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

The honing of Her Royal Highness' natural talent for horse riding through expert coaching offered by German trainer Mathias Rath at the stables in Kronberg is a part of the plans of The Royal Stable Unit and Thailand Equestrian Federation to train her to the highest standards.

As in any Olympic level competition, the Princess has committed herself to a strict training regimen in order to earn her place in the Games.

The uniqueness of her athleticism at this level is also worth noting.

She has been training with two horses -- Dream Catcher, a young horse with a high level of abilities, and Darnilo, who both have been trained to improve their capabilities and health as sporting horses.

Adhering to a rigorous training regimen, Her Royal Highness has developed horses at the Grand Prix level and the highest level of dressage in her bid to be eligible to compete at the Olympic Games.

Training at ever higher levels for the toughest competitions, the Princess has set her sights on the 2024 Paris 2024 Olympics and is sparing no effort in the hope to proudly represent Thailand at the Games and bring a medal back to the Kingdom.

The Princess has represented her country at several international sporting events including the Asian Games and the SEA Games.

She won a silver medal in the dressage team event at the 2017 SEA Games in Malaysia.

Her Royal Highness also won gold in the team dressage competition at the FEI Asian Championships Pattaya 2019.

Thailand's top eventing rider

Korntawat Samran broke the barriers as he continued his FEI Eventing World Championship campaign in Pratoni, Italy, last month.

The 24-year-old became Thailand's first-ever participant in the eventing worlds when he took to the ring, and it was a dream debut as he and partner Uster De Chanay finished in the top 20 in a field of 45 on day one. He was 24th at the end of the tournament.

He has been training with Uster, a 14-year-old Selle Francais who helped him make the step up to the big time.

"Uster is an amazing horse, who is very gentle and humble. He gives me his best and that's why I'm learning so fast to compete in the four-star level because he's very clever," Korntawat said. "It is our first championship but we did our best and I hope to go to the Paris Olympics with him."

Korntawat is targeting a medal at next year's Asian Games in China, and is also looking forward to the FEI Asian Championships on home soil.

As he builds up towards those big events, he plans to stay in Europe for another year as he continues his progress.

His development has been supported by the Thailand Equestrian Federation and his main sponsor, B.Grimm.

Working with French maestro Maxime Livio has also helped him make the grade in major competitions, having made a big move up to 4* ahead of the Tokyo Olympics.

Just a year after Korntawat took part in the Tokyo Olympics Games, Thailand's top eventer is already hoping to build on his experience by reaching Paris 2024.
