Women's doubles pair Jongkolphan Kititharakul and Rawinda Prajongjai and mixed doubles duo Supak Jomkoh and Supissara Paewsampran bowed out in the semi-finals of the US$750,000 Denmark Open in Odense yesterday.

Sixth seeds Jongkolphan and Rawinda crashed out after losing to top seeds Chen Qingchen and Jia Yifan of China 21-17, 21-15 at the BWF World Tour Super 750 event at Jyske Bank Arena.

Chen and Jia will play unseeded Baek Ha-Na and Lee So-Hee after the Korean pair fought back to upset third seeds Nami Matsuyama and Chiharu Shida of Japan 15-21, 21-18, 21-14.

Unseeded duo Supak and Supissara exited the tournament after they were beaten by another unseeded pair, Feng Yanzhe and Huang Dongping of China, 21-9, 24-22.

Feng and Huang will take on compatriots Zheng Siwei and Huang Yaqiong in the title match. The third-seeded pair defeated Goh Soon Huat and Shevon Jemie Lai of Malaysia 21-16, 24-22 in just 35 minutes.

Women's singles fifth seed Ratchanok Intanon was scheduled to play third seed Chen Yufei of China later last night.

Ratchanok is chasing her second title of the year. She won the Malaysia Open -- a Super 750 event -- in July when she beat Chen in the final.

The two players came face to face for the third time this year last night. Chen won the first meeting at the Indonesia Masters -- a Super 500 event -- in June.

Eighth seed He Bingjiao and Han Yue, both from China, were to meet in the other semi-final.

In the men's doubles semi-finals, second seeds Marcus Gideon and Kevin Sukamuljo of Indonesia defeated fourth seeds Aaron Chia and Sooh Wooi Yik of Malaysia 21-17, 13-21, 21-17.

They will play either eighth seeds Ong Yew Sin and Teo Ee Yi of Malaysia or fifth seeds Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Adrianto of Indonesia in the final today.
