In Thailand, the polo season runs from November to April.

Players from all over the world regularly visit the Thai Polo and Equestrian Club in Pattaya to play in various tournaments.

After two years of event postponement due to the Covid-19 outbreak and the African Horse Sickness (AHS) pandemic, tournaments have resumed.

The club's annual Thai Polo Open, Queen's Cup Pink Polo and Princess Pa's Cup Beach Polo tournaments have become important events not only for the sport of polo but also for charity and Thai society as they help raise funds for foundations such as the HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's Chitrlada Vocational School, the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer, and the Nabha Foundation under HRH Princess Bajrakitiyabha.

For 2023, the dates for charity polo events have been confirmed.

The Thai Polo Open will be held on Jan 28 at the Thai Polo and Equestrian Club in Pattaya, the Queen's Cup Pink Polo competition will take place on Feb 25 at the same venue, and the Princess Pa's Cup Beach Polo event will be organised on April 8 at the beach front at the InterContinental Hua Hin Resort.
