Port are looking forward to making amends for their disappointing draw last weekend by winning their home game against Police Tero this evening.

Port were only able to pick up a point after 1-1 draw with hosts PT Prachuap in their last match, while Police Tero did a commendable job in holding former champions BG Pathum United to a goalless tie last weekend.

Port's interim coach Matthew Holland is keen to win the home game, but expects a tough tussle with Police.

"This will be another difficult game for us," said Holland.

"We should have picked up three points from the game at Prachuap but we couldn't do it. This game is at PAT Stadium and we'll be playing in front of our home crowd, so we'll have to make an effort to win and claim three points."

However, it will be tomorrow's enticing clash between struggling giants Pathum United and runaway leaders Buriram United which will steal the limelight this weekend.

Rabbits have been inconsistent this season while the Thunder Castle are unbeaten in the top league so far and look all set to retain the trophy.

Pathum United are still without Thailand striker Teerasil Dangda, who is nursing an injury picked up on national duty in last month's Asean championship.

Other players like Sarach Yooyen, Phitiwat Sookjitthummakul and Chaowat Veerachart are all available for the match.

BG Pathum coach Matthew Smith said: "A game with Buriram United is always a big thing for any team.

"I know our past record against Buriram isn't that good and they are the form team at the moment. We have been working very hard and we will choose the best players for the game.

"We need to check on the fitness of key players like Teerasil Dangda, Irfan Fandi and Andres Tunez, but fans expect better results from us. We've many new players and a crowded injury list, but when things fall in their place, we will emerge as a strong team again."
