Port will be trying to end Buriram United's bid for a treble when they meet in the FA Cup semi-finals in Ratchaburi on Wednesday.

In the other semi-final, Police Tero take on Bangkok United in Suphan Buri.

Port have enjoyed a good run since Choketawee Promrut was re-appointed as coach in February, and are now third in Thai League 1.

"Buriram are a good and strong team so we must be ready to face them," said Choketawee, who helped Port win the FA Cup in 2019.

"We have to work hard. It is good that this game will be played at a neutral ground. I am sure that fans of both teams will be there and the atmosphere will be exciting."

Port's strike force will be led by Brazilian forward Hamilton Soares.

Buriram, who need only one point in their last four games to retain the T1 crown, are chasing a clean sweep of three domestic titles for a second season in a row.

"It will be an exciting game for both teams. We are looking forward to the game and we hope to reach the final," Buriram coach Masatada Ishii said.

"We are at full strength and don't have any injured players."

The Thunder Castle's attack will be spearheaded by Supachai Chaided.

Thailand international Supachai is the current T1 leading scorer with 16 goals, one more than Port star Hamilton's tally.

In the other match, T1 second-placed Bangkok United will start favouirtes against Police Tero.
