Title contenders Bangkok United will be looking to bounce back when they travel to Lamphun Warriors in Thai League 1 Friday night.

Expectations were high when the capital side beat T1 winners Buriram United in the Thailand Champions Cup ahead of the new season.

The Angels then got off to a good start to the 2023-24 campaign with a 4-1 win at Uthai Thani.

However, they were held to a scoreless home draw by Muang Thong United in their next match last week.

Second-placed Bangkok, who have four points, will be heavy favourites against Lamphun, who are still looking for their first point of the campaign.

The Angels' strike force will be led by forwards Mahmoud Eid and Willen Mota. Eid was on target twice and Willen added another in the game against Uthai Thani.

Meanwhile, surprise leaders Chiang Rai United will be gunning for their third consecutive victory when they visit Trat on Saturday.
