Bangkok United came back from one goal down to defeat Ratchaburi 3-1 at home and tie Port on 19 points at the the top of the Thai League 1 table on Sunday night.

Ratchaburi were denied a goal on 33 minutes after a VAR check revealed that Mehdi Terki had handled the ball before guiding it into the net.

The visitors finally got one in the 44th minute on a counter-attack as Njiva passed the ball to Jakkapan Kaewprom to chip it over Bangkok United goalkeeper Patiwat Kammai.

The Angels, who have two games in hands, were more active in their opponents' half after the break but the equaliser came only after 84 minutes when Mahmoud Eid struck home.

During the eight-minute injury time, Bangkok United got two more goals from Everton Goncalves and Chayawat Srinawong to seal three points from the match.

Meanwhile, champions Buriram United dropped points at home following a goalless draw with BG Pathum United.

The Rabbits owe the point to their goalkeeper Kittipong Phutaechuek who saved a penalty from Buriram's Goran Causic in the 38th minute.

Also on Sunday night, hosts Trat edged PT Prachuap 1-0 thanks to a last-gasp goal from Jorge Fellipe.
