Hosts Trat allowed Khon Kaen United to rally from a goal down twice and steal a point with a 2-2 draw in their Thai League 1 clash on Monday night.

Evandro Paulista gave Trat the lead in the 28th minute, converting a penalty after Khon Kaen's Tinnakorn Asurin was adjudged to have committed a handball inside the box following a VAR check.

Khon Kaen equalised after 65 minutes when Steeven Langil opened the ball for Chatchai Jieakklang to guide it into the net.

Four minutes later, Trat scored their second goal through Yashir Pinto but the visitors struck again in the six-minute injury time when Jung Han-Cheol headed home the leveller.

Meanwhile, Muang Thong United have appointed Milos Joksic as the co-head coach of the struggling former champions to work in tandem with interim coach Uthai Boonmoh.

The 55-year-old from Serbia was an assistant to Robbie Fowler who coached the Kirins in 2011 and also worked with Mario Gjurovski for his last 11 matches of the 2022-2023 season.

Muang Thong are currently ninth in the league table, having picked up just 13 points from 11 matches this season.

Muang Thong's next match will be against Buriram at home on Sunday.
