Leaders Bangkok United will be looking to extend their unbeaten run when they host lowly Khon Kaen United in Thai League 1 today.

The capital side, who are seeking their first ever major trophy, are two points ahead of BG Pathum United with a game in hand.

The Angels, who have not yet tasted a defeat in all competitions this season, have already booked a place in the knockout round of the AFC Champions League.

Their attack will be led by in-form forwards Willen Mota and Rungrath Phumchantuek, who scored the winner in the team's 1-0 win at Prachuap last week.

Totchtawan Sripan's men should have few problems against the King Cobras who are third from last.

Pathum are expected to get three points from their home game against Ratchaburi.

The Rabbits are fresh from their fine performance last week when they came from two goals down to beat fellow title chasers Port at PAT Stadium.

In today's other match, struggling champions Buriram United will be trying to end their winless run when they face Nakhon Pathom at Chang Arena.

The Thunder Castle have not won in the last five league matches with all ending in draws.

Last week, they led Muang Thong United twice but could only get a 2-2 draw.

Buriram have become less than impressive since Australian Arthur Papas replaced Japan's Masatada Ishii as coach a few months ago.

Ishii is now coach of the Thai national team.

Falling giants Chonburi, who are second from last, host Port tomorrow.

Following a string of poor results, the Sharks parted ways with Japanese coach Makoto Teguramori in midweek.

Interim boss Nattawut Vijitrwechakarn will take charge of the team against Port.
