CHON BURI: Amateur star Suvichaya Vinijchaitham earned the privilege to participate in the Honda LPGA Thailand 2024 and compete alongside 72 top women golfers of the world at Siam Country Club Old Course in Pattaya between Feb 22-25.
Suvichaya, 17, won the two-day Honda LPGA Thailand 2024 National Qualifiers at Siam Country Club Rolling Hills in Pattaya yesterday.
The Khon Kaen native took the lead in the first round and secured the championship with a total score of nine-under-par on the second day.
Alisa Inprasit secured second place with a total score of eight-under-par.
"I am overjoyed and incredibly proud to see my dreams come true," said Suvichaya. "The competitive journey has been remarkable, and I extend my thanks to the Honda LPGA Thailand for consistently offering a platform for Thai golfers to participate in the top-notch competition.

The Honda LPGA Thailand 2024 National Qualifiers is a part of the 'Road to Honda LPGA Thailand' initiative, which is aimed at promoting the development of golf among youth and emerging players.
