Coach Arthur Papas showered praise on his Buriram United for playing "beautiful football" as the defending champions romped to a 6-2 triumph in a Thai League 1 goal fest against Police Tero at home on Saturday night.

Guilherme Bissoli was the architect of the big victory for the Thunder Castle, firing four goals in the game.

Bissoli was at his brilliant best as he cut through the Fire Dragons's defence in the 21st, 41st, 47th and 68th minutes in a scintillating show.

Kenny Dougall (16) and Supachai Chaided (45) were the other two scorers for Buriram United.

Police Tero netted through Nattawut Munsuwan (45+2) and Ekkachai Sumrei (74).

After the match, Buriram United coach Papas said: "In the first half, we were fantastic as every member of the team played some beautiful football.

"We had worked very hard and we were focused. Tonight, we took our chances with good accuracy although the opponents were able to score two goals against us.

"Guilherme has been working very hard and it showed tonight. He is very disciplined and I am sure he can be better than this.

"The atmosphere at the venue was really great. The fans came to support the team, so we wanted them to have a good time."
