King Power, led by national female polo athlete Ploy Bhinsaeng, defeated L'Oreal Paris 6-3 in the final of the King Power International Ladies' Polo Tournament 2024 on Saturday.

The tournament, which was held between March 28-30 at the VS Sports Club and Siam Polo Park in Samut Prakan, featured three competing teams including L'Oreal Paris from France, Ash Farm Arena Polo from England and King Power.

The final was presided over by Voramas Srivaddhanaprabha, Group Vice Chairman and Chief Marketing Officer of King Power Group, who ceremoniously threw the polo ball to commence the competition and later presented the championship award to the winning team.

Jertjun Lourvanij, member of the committee of Thailand Polo Association, presented the Best Pony Award, while Chomkamol Poompanmoung, Chief Executive Officer of WP Energy Public Company Limited, awarded the Most Valuable Player (MVP) prize to Sarah Wiseman, the standout performer of the tournament.

Ploy, a prominent Thai polo athlete, said that the tournament has garnered significant acclaim from female polo players worldwide.

The tournament, which debuted in 2018, serves a dual purpose: showcasing the exceptional abilities of women polo players, and fostering the growth of ladies' polo both domestically and internationally.

Ploy also expressed her aspirations for Thailand to become a leading fixture in the global ladies' polo circuit in the near future.
