The top-seeded pair proved too strong for their young compatriots Ruttanapak Oupthong and Jhenicha Sudjaipraparat, winning their semi-final 21-15, 21-14.

They will play fifth seeds Guo Xinwa and Chen Fanghui of China in the final. The Chinese duo defeated second seeds Rinov Rivaldi and Pitha Haningtyas Mentari of Indonesia 21-15, 21-14.

There was disappointment for Kunlavut Vitidsarn, whose title defence ended in the last four after the Thai fourth seed lost to Angus Ng Ka Long of Hong Kong in a 14-21, 21-18, 19-21 thriller.

Sixth seed Lee Zii Jia of Malaysia and eighth seed Chou Tien-chen of Taiwan were due to meet in the second men's singles semi-final.

Indonesia's Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma and Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi of Indonesia booked their berth in the women's doubles decider.

They will face either Thai top seeds Jongkolphan Kititharakul and Rawinda Prajongjai or fourth seeds Tanisha Castro and Ashwini Ponnappa of India.

Men's doubles top seeds Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty advanced to the title match after they defeated Lu Ming-che and Tang Kai-wei of Taiwan 21-11, 21-12.
