Thai IOC member hands gold medals to Chinese duo after Paris 2024 victory

Khunying Patama Leeswadtrakul, an IOC member and Vice President of the Badminton World Federation, awarded the gold medals to the world No. 1 pair from China, Zheng Siwei and Huang Yaqiong, after they won the mixed doubles championship. In the final, they defeated the world No. 8 pair from South Korea, Kim Won Ho and Jeong Na Eun, with a score of 2-0.

Paul-Erik Høyer, President of the Badminton World Federation, presented the commemorative gifts. The event took place on August 2, 2024, at the Adidas Arena in Paris, France, during the Paris 2024 Olympics.
