To commemorate the premiere of the 25th James Bond adventure No Time To Die, Leica has released the limited Leica Q2 007 Edition camera with bespoke Ocean Green leather, designed by British luxury suitcase brand Globe-Trotter.

The unique 007 emblems on the deck cap and the famed Bond gun barrel design on the lens cap feature on each of the 250 cameras. Film producer Michael G. Wilson was the one who came up with the idea of a Leica and 007 collaboration.

He is a renowned specialist in 19th century photography and founded the Wilson Centre for Photography after co-producing the James Bond series with his sister Barbara Broccoli. His interest in photography sparked the idea for the partnership.

The cameras have played a role on set and behind the scenes as part of Leica's collaboration with British cinema's longest-running film franchise. In the film No Time To Die, Leica worked with the 007 production crew to showcase Leica cameras on the sets of James Bond's Jamaican house, while the Leica Q2 is seen inside Q's residence in London.

The launch of the Leica Q2 "007 Edition" coincides with the photography exhibition "No Time To Die – Behind The Scenes", which is on view at the Leica Gallery London and features a series of 25 behind-the-scenes photographs shot on Leica cameras. All were taken by Wilson, actor Daniel Craig, and renowned photographers Nicola Dove and Greg Williams.

This month, further exhibitions will be on display in Tokyo, Osaka, Vienna, Frankfurt, Los Angeles, Singapore, China, Seoul and Salzburg, while a portfolio of "No Time To Die – Behind The Scenes" is also published in the magazine Leica Fotografie International 7/2021.

In Bangkok, the limited Leica Q2 007 Edition camera is available at Leica Boutique Emporium and Gaysorn's Village's Leica Store Bangkok. Call 02-656-1102 or visit us.leica-camera.com.
