Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Prawit Wongsuwon will visit China on Monday and Tuesday to strengthen relations and military cooperation, Defence Ministry spokesman Kongcheep Tantrawanich said on Friday.
Gen Prawit will meet Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang and Defence Minister Chang Wanquan in Beijing to discuss furthering the relationship and strategic partnership with China based on mutual benefits, said Maj Gen Kongcheep.
He said the trip aimed to promote bilateral cooperation on security and expand military cooperation for regional peace.
