Three more generals have been added to the National Legislative Assembly, the lawmaking body of the junta.
They are Gen Chaicharn Changmongkol, defence permanent secretary; Gen Sasin Thongbhakdi, army chief of staff; and Lt Gen Thanakiat Chobchuenchom, commander of the Armed Forces Security Centre.
Signed by Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha in his capacity as chief of the National Council for Peace and Order, the announcement was published in the Royal Gazette on Thursday and took effect immediately.
Each NLA member receives a salary of 71,230 baht and an extra allowance of 42,330 a month for a total of 113,560 baht, plus a meeting allowance of 1,500 for each meeeting they attend of any committees on which they sit. They can also hire a team of up to three experts and assistants who are paid 15,000 to 24,000 baht a month.
