Ambulance driving 101: Don't know where a patient lives? Ask a postman.

A postie doing his rounds on a motorcycle came to the aid of a lost ambulance driver in Muang district of Songkhla on Friday.

The driver had received a radio call and was rushing to collect a patient with a heart problem who needed to go to Songkhla Hospital. But he could not find the address he was given.

Fortunately, Thailand Post delivery guy Saranpat Paengsri was passing by. The ambulance driver flagged him down and asked for directions.

Mr Saranpat did better than that, he led the way to the house on his motorcycle.

"I knew the place because it is in the area where I have been responsible for delivering mail for more than two years," he told theTraffic Police website.
