Nation to hail Queen in June

Activities will be held to celebrate Her Majesty the Queen's birthday on June 3.

Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana's pictures will be placed in public, decorated with purple and white outside city halls and on key roads for the month, Chatchai Promlert, permanent secretary for the Interior Ministry said on Thursday.

Well-wishing books will be provided for people to sign, he said.

Each province will hold "Have and share" charity and volunteer activities in which locals help those in need, in honour of Her Majesty. However, social distancing measures must be observed to prevent the spread of Covid-19, he said.
