King writes to Japan, Brunei

His Majesty the King on Tuesday sent congratulatory messages to His Majesty Emperor Naruhito of Japan and His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei on their national days.

"On the occasion of the National Day of Japan and Your Majesty's birthday, I am pleased to express my warmest congratulations and best wishes for the good health and happiness of Your Majesty and all members of the Imperial Family as well as for the progress and prosperity of Japan and her people," His Majesty wrote.

"On the occasion of the National Day of Brunei Darussalam, I wish to express my sincerest felicitations and best wishes for the good health and happiness of Your Majesty and all members of the Royal Family as well as for the progress and prosperity of Brunei Darussalam and her people," the King wrote.
