The father of a Prathomsuksa 5 student at Sarasas Witaed Rachaphruek School yesterday turned himself in after the school complained he published information alleging a teacher assistant had assaulted her pupils.
Lawyer Ronnarong Kaewphet yesterday accompanied Santi Khanthaphiriyanant to the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) so he could file his own a complaint over the case in which he is charged with violating the Computer Crime Act.
Mr Santi faces warrants and charges in Nonthaburi, Surat Thani, Chiang Mai, Sukhothai and many other areas.
He claims some government officials might have ordered investigators to issue arrest warrants against him and charged him unfairly.
He added that an arrest warrant was issued for him in Surat Thani after he revealed online that the school intended to pursue mediation with parents of the students allegedly injured by the assistant teacher at Sarasas Witaed Ratchaphruek School in Pak Kret district.
Ornuma "Khru Jum" Plodprong, 30, was last year sacked by the school for beating up kindergarten pupils and faces charges after videos of young children being hit repeatedly by her went viral.
Mr Santi declared that when he posted the story to a Facebook page he runs last November he had not added opinions of his own, nor made any alterations to it.
Police said the school's executive filed a complaint against Mr Santi in Surat Thani after they saw his post while the executive was on a business trip there.
Mr Santi also faces arrests warrants in Chiang Mai and Sukhothai which he says were brought by the same executive.
He said the lawsuits were puzzling since he had not been summoned for questioning before the arrest warrants were issued and had not attempted to flee.
The school had sent him a letter instructing that he withdraw his daughter from the school and find a new one within 90 days, Mr Santi said.
