PATTANI: A former assistant village head was shot dead in Nong Chik district on Monday night.
He was killed on a road a road in Moo 2 village of tambon Pulo Puyo and the attack reported to police about 7pm.
Police said Arong Yeng, 61, a native of Ban Tha Kubo village in tambon Pulo Puyo, was shot while riding his motorcycle homeward and there was no eyewitness.
Police were investigating.
