B2.4bn seized from kingpin network

A major drug network belonging to kingpin "Long Sae-Lee" has been busted with assets worth over 2.4 billion baht seized, according to Justice Minis-ter Somsak Thepsuthin.

Mr Somsak said the Office of the Narcotics Control Board (ONCB) and local authorities have conducted 22 raids in nine provinces on suspected hideouts connected to the network.

They arrested six suspects wanted on arrest warrants and seized their houses, land, cars, motorbikes and cash worth more than 2.4 billion baht in total.
