Thailand Space Week 2023 will be held Oct 25-27 in Bangkok to showcase Thailand's potential and business opportunities in the space industry.
The event is a collaboration between local and international partners on space technology development and related technologies, Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (Gistda) spokesman, Natthawat Hongkarnjanakul, said yesterday.
One of the highlights will be a forum where leading companies including Airbus, JAXA and AWS-Amazon share their perspectives about space-related businesses development, benefits and the rapid growth of space-related businesses.
It will also showcase Thai space technology development that boosts the economy and supports sustainable social and business development, he said.
The role of the private sector in this and possible impacts will also be addressed, he said.
The three-day event will be held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center and admission is free.
