Ex-volunteer killed in Yala

A former defence volunteer was found dead in a rubber plantation in Yala's Raman district on Sunday morning.

Police said Muhamad Muso, 30, was shot three times in the head and body in a rubber plantation near Ban Kube in tambon Talo Halo. A motorcycle was found lying by his side.

It was believed Muhamad was shot to death last night as villagers living in the area said they heard the sound of gun shots at about 8pm.
