Stolen motorbikes seized in Tak

TAK - Police and soldiers on Sunday arrested a 50-year-old woman at her home in Mae Sot district and confiscated 13 stolen motorcycles which were destined to be sold in Myanmar.

Police said they received a tip-off that many stolen motorbikes were hidden in the house owned by Natcharat Visetsirisupakul.

The suspect allegedly admitted that about 3,000 motorbikes were smuggled to Myanmar each year and she had been in the motorbike smuggling business for four years.

Most of the motorbikes were still on finance, police said.
