Two men from Rangers Company 3301 of Yala Task Force 33 were wounded by a bomb while on foot patrol to provide security for teachers in Yala's Thanto district on Monday morning, police said.
As the team was nearing Buathong village in tambon Ban Rae, a home-made bomb went off about 7.10am.
L/Cpl Chanchai Yakij and Montri Kongmongkol, a volunteer ranger, were wounded. They were admitted to Thanto Hospital.
