Body found on southern beach

A body was found on a beach in Nakhon Si Thammarat early on Friday.

Police found the body of a man who might have been dead 4-5 days  on Kwang Pao beach in Khanom district. The  body appeared to be a caucasian aged 30-40, according to Matichon Online.

No wounds were found on the body, which had tattoos of flowers and birds.

Police are still identifying the body and have not ruled out it could be the Swiss man who disappeared last Saturday from Koh Tao.

Suter Hanspeter, 44, went missing while snorkelling off Sairee Beach, Koh Tao, Surat Thani, on Nov 8.
