RATCHABURI — An unlicensed 15-year-old motorcyclist had a lucky escape when he was tossed from an overpass, fell to the road below and was hit by a car on Sunday, police said.

Pol Lt Suchart Sudkaew, an investigating offcer at Ban Pong police station, said Yutthana Laenpok was left unconscious on the road, bleeding from the mouth and nose, and with a broken arm. But he survived.

The teenager's Honda Tenna motorcycle was found on the side of the overhead bridge.
