Police said on Sunday they had found only one body off the coast of Surat Thani province, in contradiction to fishermen's report that they saw four bodies.
The fishermen told police that they discovered four bodies about 17 nautical miles from the shore in the Gulf of Thailand.
When a team of officers arrived, they found only one body (previous story).
