A small earthquake with a magnitude of 2.3 on the Richter scale was recorded in Pai district of Mae Hong Son province early Tuesday, the Meteorological Department reported.
The department’s seismic surveillance bureau reported the tremor occurred about 2.16 am. The epicentre of the earthquake was located at 19.23 degrees latitude and 98.53 degrees longitude.
There were no reports of damage.
