There will be no toll charged on the Bang Na-Chon Buri section of the expressway during the Songkran holiday, the Expressway Auithority of Thailand announced on Friday.
The toll exemption begins immediately after midnight on Thursday April 10 and ends at midnight on April 16.
The texpemtion applies to the elevated expressway to the South of Suvarnabhumi airport linking the Bang Na-Chon Buri section and the link between the Bang Phli-Suksawat section and the Bang Na-Chon Buri section.
Expressway authority director Aiyanut Tinaphai said the toll exemption will facilitate traffic flow for people heading out of Bangkok for the annual water festival holiday.
