In purpose of entertainment and education, River City Bangkok in association with the international organization, European Union in Thailand, has selected Thai and foreign experts to lecture about art and related subjects.

Following these objectives, European Union in Thailand and River City Bangkok are pleased to invite you to attend the lecture entitled Beyond the art: what the Van Gogh Museum can teach us about improving and deepening museum experience.

This lecture explores the interpretational approaches, design strategies and storytelling of Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam over last decade. It illustrates how a modern museum should be conceptualised and organised in the context of the global/ international museum movement in deepening museum experience. The case study of Van Gogh Museum generates insights into making a museum successful in visitors’ minds.

Hatairat Estrella Montien is a museologist with sophisticated experiences and high profile projects in Thailand and international level.
