SACICT Reveals Success of “The 12th Fai Tor Jai”

SACICT Reveals Success of “The 12th Fai Tor Jai” with Sales Sum Over THB 23.8 Million

Ended with a great success of organizing “The 12th Fai Tor Jai under the theme of Lai Yang styles” by achieving both artistic value and financial value, and rooting the pride of products.

Thai cotton and crafts have offered more opportunities to master artisans of Thailand, master craftsmen, heritage artisans, and SACICT members with sales sum over THB 23.8 million.

Mrs. Amparwon Pichalai, Chief Executive Officer of The SUPPORT Arts and Crafts International Centre of Thailand revealed that “Fai Tor Jai” has been annually organized by the SACICT. For this year, there were many activities and over 150 booths under the theme of “Fai Tor Jai in Lai Yang Styles” inspired by magnificence and pattern of Lai Yang, a type of cotton in unique and colorful printing techniques. Five limited edition Lai Yang patterns were designed by well-known superstars and fashion designers of Thailand; namely, Jaeb–Eaggamon Attagamon who is the owner of EAGGAMON Brand and designs “Yang Nee Kor Dee” pattern, Ma Phrao–Kongkiet Ketkaew who is the owner of Kongkiet Atelier and designs “Tao Mattana” pattern, “Aor-Nutthiya Suksathan who is the owner of NADYN JADYN brand and designs “Kruang Kwaen Rim Na Tang” pattern, Tubtim-Anyarin Teerathananpat who is the actress of Channel 7 and designs “Tubtim Siam” pattern, and Joe-Athit Thirakittiwat who is the owner of SURFACE boutique and designs “Ratchalong” pattern. The most favored pattern in this event was “Kruang Kwaen Rim Na Tang” pattern designed by Aor-Nutthiya Suksathan from NADYN JADYN brand.

For the overall achievement of “The 12th Fai Tor Jai” organized from June 27-30, 2019 at The SUPPORT Arts and Crafts International Center of Thailand, Amphoe Bang Sai, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, it has obtained an excellent response as proved by the distribution and purchase volume for all 4 days in the amount of THB 23,845,412. Except the success from the distribution volume, “The 12th Fai Tor Jai” also forms value for Thai crafts, which would enable the master artisans of Thailand, master craftsmen, heritage artisans, and SACICT members to succeed their invaluable crafts powerfully and sustainably.
