Received the Best Golf Course in Thailand Award and the runner up The Championship Golf Course in Asia Pacific Award. Both were the results of an on-line poll organised by The Asia Pacific Golf Group (APGG), the longest-established specialist golf media house in the region as well as the owner of the prestigious Asian Golf Awards, the golf industry’s equivalent of “The Oscars”. The award ceremony took place in India this year with the usual purpose for the industry to recognise its best through an on-line poll of golfing facilities across the Asia-Pacific region.
Importantly, Siam Country Club won two awards that recognise the best golf courses in the region and the best golf destinations for golf-lovers, serving as the yardstick by which excellence in the golf industry is measured in the Asia Pacific region.
Siam Country Club has won several awards previously, including The Rolex World's Top 1000 Golf Course, and Top 100 Golf Courses in the World by Golf Digest USA (only 2 golf courses in Thailand are ranked and Siam Country Club is 73rd).
Siam Country Club, the Best Golf Course in Thailand and only Thai golf course so-awarded in Asia Pacific, features four golf courses offering four unique experiences and 81 holes in total. The Old Course has 18 holes, Plantation 27 holes, Waterside 18 holes and from January 2020, “Siam Country Club Rolling Hills” will add another 18-hole golf course with its grand opening. The new course will be guaranteed by a unique identity that meets international standards. All four courses will attract more tourists and golf-lovers worldwide.
