Chia Tai reasserts its seed sector leadership with two remarkable new hybrids

Chia Tai Company Limited, Thailand’s leading innovative agricultural company, introduces, for the first time ever in Thailand, two varieties of Flowering Pakchoy (F1 Hybrid).

Flowering Pakchoy Khaonuan (F1 Hybrid) and Flowering Pakchoy Pinmorrakot (F1 Hybrid)  are both bred to match market demand that varies by region. Their main selling points are that they require fewer seeds while yielding twice as much. Farmers can harvest their crops only 30–35 days after sowing, bringing them higher yields with fewer seeds and generating income faster.

Chia Tai is aware of the issues farmers face surrounding the cultivation of Open Pollinated (OP) seeds. For instance, they must plant large numbers of seeds, necessitating multiple harvests, but the yields are low and plant sizes are inconsistent.

Now Chia Tai has solved their problems by breeding two varieties of Thailand’s first-ever Flowering Pakchoy (F1 Hybrid), thereby providing farmers with the seed variety alternatives they truly need.
