Central Pattana to open the largest shopping centre in the eastern region

Central Pattana Plc (CPN), Thailand’s No.1 real estate developer, has announced it is preparing to officially open ‘Central Si Racha’ – the largest and most complete mixed-use project in the eastern region – on 27 October 2021

Located in the middle of Si Racha City, the project has been given the go-ahead as the economy is expected to rebound at the end of this year. Central Si Racha is poised to become the centre of economic activities including expansion of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) and New S Curve industries in the area. The shopping centre offers a semi-outdoor atmosphere to emphasise the site’s commitment to Si Racha’s natural environment.  

Created under the concept ‘Innovation Oasis’, Central Si Racha will be the largest and most full-range mixed-use project in the eastern region. The semi-outdoor shopping centre is the first of its kind outside of Bangkok. There is also a hotel, a serviced apartment, an office building and an education centre. 

Central Si Racha blends the indoor and outdoor sections of the shopping centre with nature. This results in several intriguing design areas, including an outdoor walking street that encompasses a playground, a food street and a pet park in a green space of over 2,800sqm.  Central Si Racha is designed to be an eco-friendly mall with consideration given to resources and the environment. It is equipped with a giant green wall and solar panelled rooftops and can efficiently reuse energy.

Central Si Racha is ready for opening at the end of this year with an official opening date of 27 October 2021.  The company is concerned about the pandemic and will focus on the safety and health of customers, employees and partner shops.  The project will offer the best experience for the people of Si Racha. 

It will be the largest and most full-range mixed-use project in the eastern region with a focus on lifestyle and a semi-outdoor design that brings people closer to nature. Central Si Racha also takes a sustainable business approach and is designed to be environmentally-friendly.

“To expand the project, we conducted a business matching programme to provide opportunities for local investors and the country’s top businesses to work together,” continues Dr. Nattakit. “We implemented a flexible leasing programme to help relieve the burdens on tenants in the first year.”

“Since the beginning of the pandemic crisis, Central Pattana has also provided 360-degree assistance to tenants that includes discounts and rent exemptions according to each situation.  We have helped tenants access multi-bank business rehabilitation loans from seven of the top banks in the country.  We have planned marketing activities and new platforms such as The 1 Biz as an effective CRM (customer relationship management) tool to help boost sales to tenants.  We also have the Central Pattana Serve application that is an all-in-one tool to service all our tenants.”
