The Department of international Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, organised “Trade Logistics Symposium 2021” on the theme “Digital Logistics: The Answer to The Future” between 26 and 27 August 2021. The Symposium corresponded to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce Mr. Jurin Laksanawisit’s policy to boost the services sector’s marketing potential and empower entrepreneurs.
The symposium served as a forum for the exchange of logistics and international trade information, equipping entrepreneurs with useful knowledge on the business of logistics of today and tomorrow. The event was well received with more than xxx Thai and international participants, including from Myanmar, Singapore, Russia, the United States, and the United Kingdom, among others.
“The Department has been organising the Trade Logistics Symposium every year with the aim to strengthen entrepreneurs’ capability in dealing with everyday logistics service challenges and prevailing against future obstacles,” commented Mr. Ekachat Seetavorarat, Deputy Director-General of DITP. “Technological competition has prompted traditional logistics operations’ transformation into digital logistics operations. Participants in the two-day symposium have been updated on logistics digitalisation and future trends in the logistics sector by world-renowned speakers. This has given them knowledge and tools they can apply in their businesses in order to excel as leaders in the new logistics era.”
